Oda just completely wasted a perfect opportunity for Nami and Usopp to get their first clean 1v1 in over a decade...just to make it seem like this arc is unpredictable...

Oda needs to learn adding random shit like Big Mom’s “Mother Mode” and Yamato doesn’t make his story better, in fact it makes it 100% less entertaining. Yamato coming completely out of nowhere with literally no build up make it seem like she’s an asspull to help Luffy against Kaido. This arc alone has plenty of issues like this.

My biggest example of this is the scene of Sanji deciding where to go only for him to be in a completely different place with nothing accomplished. Shit like this is just getting annoying...

What do you guys think of this?

So many examples, Jack vs Inu/Neko offscreened, Carrot vs Perospero off screened, Kaido vs Oden lasted literally two panels not two pages but two panels, Kaido vs Big Mom off screened, Akainu vs Aokoji off screened, Balckbeard vs Revolutionary army off screened, so many examples of the False Hype King Oda.

How about not even create the illusion that Nami was able to 1 v 1 Ulti? It served ZERO purpose. What did it solve? All it did was create more issues with the story because now Oda needed to create yet another plot device personality trait for Big Mom to help the straw hats for the THIRD f-ing time. Why even put them in that situation? Why not give them there plausible 1 v 1 matches already or ignore them like how Oda has ignored Jinbei, Robin, Hiyori, Drake, Marco, so many characters instead of just this stupid running around games.

The issue is that it feels like only Luffy is allowed to ignore Powerlevels . Everyone else more or less has to adhere to It.

Oda could have made that upgrade Usopp gave to Nami more powerful, he could have had the Ninja training they got matter. He could have gone several ways to make them stronger without it feeling like an asspull

2/6 Tobi Roppo just got taken out. The story is the story. Oda won't change it for people who don't like it and I can't convince you not to complain about it, so I dunno what to tell you. Sit back and watch the show I guess, since you won't actually quit.

Luffy doesn't ignore power levels. He got two upgrades to fight Kaido and still got knocked out
