Break Week Oda probably got bullied into making Sanji a fighter post timeskip

Sanji is clearly still a prominent fighter.

It's just that he clearly has other roles, unlike Luffy and Zoro. So during arcs where there are no major 1v1's or no gigantic plotlines coming to an end, his strength does not always get highlighted. Oda is also okay with having him look bad at times/be a hype tool for this reason.

Basically it seemed that just like he was doing with all the straw hats, Oda wanted Sanji to stick to his role more than he wanted him to be a fighter, but due to the general dislike by Sanji's huge fan base, he had to scrap the direction he was taking with his character and focus more on his fights than his cooking

Is it really that Odd that Sanji is fighting more in Wano than other Arcs? Look at the Post Timeskip Arcs......

Punk Hazzard- Not a fighting arc, no pirate crew to take down....
Dressrosa- Sanji left the arc..........
WCI- Rescue Arc, none of the strawhats got fights aside from luffy, They also didn't come to fight in the first place.
Wano- The Strawhats came to defeat Kaidos crew so All of them get fights. It has more to do with the purpose of the arc not Sanji or his role in the crew. The same goes for every Strawhat.

People who arguing Sanji > Jinbe because he beat Queen extreme diff, with PU, and with distraction while Jinbe beat Whos Who mid diff without water, are the same people who genuinely believed Dressrosa Luffy > Sabo because Luffy beat Doffy while Sabo beat Burgess.
