if you're expecting this movie to be super plot driven, you're going to be massively disappointed.
on the other hand, if you enjoy listening to jpop and watch the film for the musical experience (this film along has 7-8 artists that would normally each be paid top bill for a high demand anime's OP/ED, Mrs. Green Apple - Fire Force, Vaundy - Ousama Ranking, Motohiro Hata - Naruto Shippuden, Hiroyuki Sawano - Attack on Titan's entire OST, etc), it will be a pretty fun watch. as long as you don't care about the plot

I attended the AnimeExpo OP Red panel.
The Japanese staff emphasized, once again, that Uta is indeed Shanks' daughter.
They also said that because she is Shanks' daughter, the movie will have important ties to the main story.
