why are some people so against zoro being important in this fight???:kaidowhat:
I'm not a fanboy yet I'm glad we're getting a straw hat who isn't Luffy being relevant against the main antagonist for once instead of it just being Luffy + allies
y'all weird
There is a difference between being "important", even critical to the fight, by stalling, blocking, dealing small amounts of damage and distracting Yonko to allow Luffy to do his job, and achieve his lifetime's goal, and randomly elevating Zoro to the level where his feats equal or surpass Luffy's in the same arc and actively tread on what Luffy, his captain, has specifically said multiple times.

It's not random.

Zoro has yet to:

1. Show the real results of his TS training
2. Unleash Asura for the first time since Post TS commenced
3. Show how much his Enma training borne fruit

Honestly I don't really care about ZKK, but Zoro is 100% going to do more than a small amount of damage at some point of the fight. Oda didn't allow scabbards to re-open Kaido scar yet gave Zoro ENMA for a reason

"NOOOOOOO luffy has to do EVERYTHING BY HIMSELF, he is the protagonist reeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"
:pepecry::pepemotion::feelscryingman::pepehands:
Luffy has said he will take both of them down, his word and 20 years of One Piece track record>> zorostan theories.
Zoro hasn't even met Big Mom properly before, and Luffy's connection to Kaido is far far greater than Zoro's.

Luffy taking out even 1 Yonko by himself is an asspull in itself

By that flawless logic, Zoro said he would cut Kaido, does that means Zoro is a liar then?
:kizabat:
Ah yeah, Luffy always do what he claims he will do...Like that time he successfully saved ace from Marineford and they rode happily into the sunset.:yasu:

Also Oda is never mundane and casual when it comes to story plot.

There has to be a reason why the Zoro/Ryuma encounter occurred, that goes beyond Shusui itself. So much hype for a single sword is not justified differently. It could be descendancy? Who knows. Just a foreshadow of the Black blade? Doubtful. Mihawk got one too.
what if all these foreshadows are no foreshadows and nothing happens :kayneshrug:

Hes never gunned for the main villian himself this much either heck he told luffy to his face to take him to kaido.

Well, because they're not just regular antagonists, they're the Emperors of the sea.

Defeating the Emperors is a very important thing for those who wanna become the next PK, it's actually the most important thing for them. Fighting against Kaido or any Emperor is their chance to shine, to prove that they are worthy of becoming the PK.

Zoro who has no interest in becoming the PK, who even didn't wanna become pairet in first place fighting against Emperors undermines Luffy's dream and the dream of those who worked hard for that dream. When Zoro will face against Mihawk no one will say that Luffy should intervene or help, I wouldn't for sure. Zoro has his own dream and his own path, Luffy, kid Law etc. Have their own path, Zoro casually fighting against an Emperor makes their dream look pathetic. Let Zoro shine against Mihawk and let Luffy and Kid shine against Emperors, it's a simple thing that everyone understands.

Ya'll think will solo 2 yonko by himself? LMAO, Zoro will contribute a LOT, all 5 up there have to, or else they cant possibly beat 2 yonko by themselves.
Contributing a lot or not, they still can't handle 2 freaking yonkos all by themselves. Remember when we used to talk about all the supernova vs Kaido? Now we don't have all the supernova and even have one additional Yonko at the same time, lol.
