Portrayal is a very subjective and a biased outlook. Oda, again and again, shows Zoro and Sanji to be rivals/equals. Who decides that it's just a gag or some real portrayal? I personally think it's more of a gag and less of actual portrayal (though I don't believe their difference in strength to be as big as you put it to be) but it's up to one's own opinion and biases. Feats are the only real decisive factor. Up until that, it's speculation.
Okay Im actually interested into where did Law transfer the scabbards? Which floor?
Also how would King and Queen react when they hear the gang starting to fight Kaido
I'm pretty sure they will frantically try to reach him in he roof even with Marco there

He never handled so many fighters in the same fight. He prefers to do 1 vs 1. Even against Enel they mostly attacked him one by one.

Honestly I don't think current Luffy and Sanji could beat Benn Beckmann in a 2v1... that means @Kuro Ashi thinks Zoro would beat Luffy and Sanji in a 2v1 !!!
He knew they were in distress and said “We’re not running a charity business here” until Nami overruled him. He’s just not a very kind person

Now, that being said, this is silly. We are shown Sanji being kind multiple times in the story. He's introduced being kind to GIN. That's a man, if you can't remember.
And don't forget that Sanji this whole time you're using to say he's not kind was ALREADY saving Kinemon.

I think Ben is the strongest non top tier, so post Wano Zoro will be up there. Maybe second only to Ben and he surpasses Ben after the arc where we meet the Red Hair Pirates.
If Ben happens to be stronger than i think, then Zoro is weaker than that, so i would scale him in relation to Marco, surpassing him post Wano instead.
Top Tier cutting but not blocking, because i think Zoro will use the breath of all things gimmick to achieve said feats, which don't really work defensively.
Zoro will still have great defense through top notch CoA and great endurance.
Look, outside of when i am obviously joking with Zoro fanboys, i have no ill will towards Zoro and i respect his strength and value as a character. Zoro was my first ever favorite character in One Piece for a long while. I think it took reading up to through most of the Alabasta to have Sanji take that sport from him for me.

Like all of them being in the same place then two of them clashing randomly then someone intervenes and divers the fight then they proceed to fight and it continues to happen like this
