That’s fair. I give it that either could win depending on circumstance and location. Zoro is definitely stronger but, he’s too straightforward. His solution has always been to cut deeper. Sanji is smarter and more strategic. He thinks up more creative and intelligent solutions when he meets with an overwhelming issue.
You're spitting delusional bullshit right now "he’s too straightforward" "Sanji is smarter and more strategic" ... are you still stuck in PRE-TS ?

Before ending Pika, Zoro took the time to first think about the best and effective approach to beat him and to deal with the rubble that would crumble on the royal plateau.

When Apoo knocked out Luffy, Zoro analyzed the situation and then decided to retreat to avoid unnecessary confrontations in order to preserve himself (and Luffy) as much as possible before facing Kaido ... so, he DIDN'T GO STRAIGHTFOWARD to fight Apoo and the Gifters (yet haters slander him because of it:lusalty:)

Seriously, the so-called "Zoro is too straightforward" & "Sanji is smarter and more strategic" are nothing more than myths by the time we are currently in the manga ...

Sanji can beat them all???
He was clearly weaker than Judge, Ichiji & Niji but stronger than Yonji & Reiju

Talking shit on him when Arc started? You're right, it's because they remember him for being a crybaby
But Arc ended & guess what? They still considered him weaker than them even after witnessing the new him
Judge isn't stupid, he saw Sanji during the entire Arc & his conclusion was that Sanji is a weakling, Niji too

Now with Raid Suit, he reached their level & could beat them
My dude reiju is stronger than niji. Oda shows that in every flashback.
Not to mention didn’t Sanji break nijis jaw with a single kick?

What's strategy/thinking is going to help him survive againt Zoro?

He's shown to been handy in stituations like the Ennis Lobbies gates and his Mr Prince moment back in Alabasta. He does has good wits.

But do tell me where is this shown in his battles? He's also a cqc fighter who wins by kicking his opponents into submission. No strategy there, just brute strength.

And unfortunately his legs gets chopped off here. He's far weaker then Zoro.
