I too believe it makes no sense. Akainu is the head of the Marines, seriously injured Luffy and killed Ace before Luffy’s eyes but he’s gonna be defeated by a tertiary character because this character ate the Mera Mera no Mi ? I highly doubt that.

Zoro vs Kizaru makes no sense in my eyes either. Zoro wants to be the WSS so he always fights swordsmen to get closer to his dream because that’s the logical approach from a narrative standpoint. Why would he fight Kizaru instead of the Admiral who is an actual swordsman and already clashed with him in Dressrosa ? He also expressed the desire to fight and defeat Fujitora but doesn’t give a shit about Kizaru.

Fujitora won’t resign from the Marines because it will add nothing to the story. Kuzan did so because Oda is setting something up with this character and he’s like the antithesis of Akainu. There’s no point in repeating the same development with Fujitora, his issues with Akainu is just a way to characterize him.

Kizaru is a kick specialist that can power up his legs with his light power, which is obviously reminiscent of Sanji powering up his legs with DJ. Not only that but Kizaru can also laser kick his opponents and Oda hinted at Sanji’s RS making him able to shoot lasers with his kicks too. And of course, there’s the fact Sanji is a speed oriented fighter like Kizaru.

Yamato isn’t an SH as of now so it’s way too soon to say she will fight Ryokugyu, Jinbe is the most sensible pick because he’s already an SH and part of Luffy’s top 3 subordinates. I’ll add that Yamato is probably overrated in my opinion, I don’t see her being stronger than Jinbe or equal to him. I would put her above Franky but that’s about it, her feats aren’t impressive enough to put her any higher on the list.

- Luffy vs Akainu
- Zoro vs Fujitora
- Sanji vs Kizaru
- Jinbe vs Ryokugyu

That’s my guess.

Yerrr, my thoughts too. Sanji/Jinbe could be switched potentially depending on Ryokugyuu's personality. There are hints to him being a ladies man, a cook, and not eating, which is so much like Sanji and not like Sanji at the same time lol. Not to mention Kizaru is the reason Arlong was released on East Blue in a way. It would be interesting if they touched on that again

Saying the author has plans for a character dosent mean shit...He had plans for Law and dressrosa happened, while it was a great arc and Law got a lot of development there, combatwise, Law was much, much weaker than Luffy.

He also said something allong the lines "this will be the year of Sanji" a few years ago, didnt he?

I will concede the fact and say that he can take an attack, but I truly didnt like the direction Oda took with Apoo, he basically hyped him up to fodderize him in 997 and 998.

I get annoyed at all the bs headcanon so i ended up going full tilt against Apoo

I actually enjoyed him fighting in I belive 978 and 979 vs worstgen.

There's honestly no point in arguing this, especially here in worstgen. Either you'll hear people saying that Zoro >>> Kidd or Zoro << Kidd. You'll rarely get unbiased or honest answers.

Kaios I like the Sanji fans on here, , it's just they get looped in with the heavy hitting Zorohaters who come on spoiler threads week after week and fight a multfront battle and Sanji fans get in the mix, didnt like that Oda gave him a stupid detour in being face to face with BM, it's a plot armor that's a waste of time

I know there are Sanji haters, usually saying it's him fighting PO and BM headcanon in association which is dumb per usual, also usually a majority of their rebuttles are in defense of Zoro, some of them are stupid like we know Sanji is 100% fighting King or Queen, also there were hints of him going to the roof, which is a possibility

That was because of Marco healing him. If not, you are telling me that has to be the biggest coincidence in the entire manga.

Apoo didn't get up until after Marco, whose fire has healing powers, used his fire attack that covered all if not most of the floor Apoo was on, who was surrounded by Ice Orge, that fire attack was used to stop the spread of the ice Orge virus.
