Worst gen is kind of divided in two teams like this.

Katakuri had superior haki over Luffy yet when Luffy used G4 he was still bleeding. With enough strength you can bypass CoA, but Kaido's scale are special.
Does he need to be in Zoan form to use his powers? No he's currently lifting Onigashima while in base.

No, Kaido' scales are not special. You only need enough AP.
Advanced Haki lvl 1 is = +AP, nothing special.
The one which is special is Advanced Haki lvl 2, which ignores the external defence.

It wasn't said anywhere that he has scales in Base. That's pure assumption.

They would need to interrupt his regen process just like Old Garp had attained back on Marineford. Queen would need to land a solid Brachio Bomber and then King would need to attack with his best arsenal, with Queen bursting in as well. Marco is very agile so it would be tricky.

I don't underestimate Luffy. I acknowledge that he is above all commanders and a Low Top Tier by now, but i still don't think that this Luffy would be so care-free against Akainu, not after the emotional damage and scars he got from him.

Time will tell. I'm absolutely confident that I'm right on this one.

Maybe, maybe not. I think he would act badass but maybe more angry at Akainu than not to be honest. I think i would like for the encounter with Akainu to be more emotional, like instead of this carefree attitude id like for it to be more cold rage.

I think something will happen that will make BM leave Kaido's side because as things stand the people at the top arent winning with 2 top tiers there.

The prophecy of the 9 shadows taking down Kaido(singled down) was repeated this very chapter, other people will arrive to the top to help Luffy and co will BM is out somewhere else.

Im hoping on navy intervention and or her plain leaving for some other reason.

I don't see SHs completed crew vs BM crew a necessity anymore.

BM will be the first yonkou that luffy will solo.


But as many have said, there is no point in having BM in elbaf and dragging yonkou saga then have PK saga/ raftel. But who knows
