Do people actually like this chapter? This is chapter 1000. It should provide some new revelation. You would expect that chapter 1000 you would get some important revelation or something waiting for 23 years and 1000 chapters later. Like why does Oda even mention "D" if you aren't going to even give us a hint? This could have been chapter 999.

Well again, you are arguing that the only route for Zoro is to make all of his swords into black blades at once.
This is assuming the one and only factor that makes black blades is haki control

remember that’s all I’m talking about. Haki control. I’m saying Zoro’s haki control must be the same with which ever sword he has.

I don’t believe just haki control makes black blades. If there’s another factor that makes black blades on top of haki control then that factor will be what affects when which sword turns black

remember We don’t know whether there’s more to it. You can’t just assume that if Zoro’s haki control is even, then all his swords turn black at once. This statement assumes we know for a fact that just good Haki makes black blades. And that’s extremely doubtful

Luffy is matched on par with the Emperors of the Sea. He has now just become a Great Pirate and his Legendary status will now be cemented

I mean, we can leave it as an abstract something that we don't really know what it is, and i can still make the claim that being closer to turning a specific sword into a black blade than others makes it special and if all else equal, would be your best chance to pull something more with it.

Okay your point? We need to start learning some important information for christ sakes. Oda dick riding Luffy every chapter making him to be some god, forcing us to love him is annoying. I want to actually get revelations that is important.

Oda is not a whore who can pleased you :seriously:

Well then wait for the abstract something to be introduced. For now, we have no confirmation that Enma is closer to being made a black blade than Zoro’s other swords, that’s the first thing

second As far as Actual combat is involved, swords are not supposed to control swordsmen abilities. It’s the other way around. Oden used Enma the exact same way as his other sword so I do not believe there’s any plot reason why Zoro should be different unless he just plainly hasn’t mastered the sword

Based on what criteria?

The only mistake was by the editorial department to hype the chapter.

No confirmation that it is closer, but more reason to think that it could be since it brought in the Haki training and was discussed in the context of turning it into a black blade.

Also i am not sure you are arguing against this, but the blade obviously does make a difference. For an extreme example compare Mihawk with the tiny knife vs Mihawk with Yoru.

Also here is an interesting hint, Mihawk's tiny blade is not black, even though he wields a black blade in Yoru.

When has he ever used haki on that blade.

By the criteria that it is 23+ years and 1000 chapters later. AOT finished within a decade. Tokyo Ghoul finished within a decade. And here we have One Piece 23+ years later and 1000 chapters later and we still know as much about the will of D, or void century, or the one piece, or any important revelation as we did since chapter 1.

Different stories with entirely different setups, albeit much smaller worlds.
AoT was centered around one major mystery and kept pushing that till the basement. The ride till there was great, but i do not know anybody who did not say "when the fuck are we not getting to the basement".

That´s not true. Chapter 1 we did not even know that existed.

Anyway there is nothing that says chapter 1000 should be the huge revelation or something, it´s something you set as standard for yourself.
