Finally Oda turns off the villain's plot armor 
Even Lucci took time to be embarrassed during the last fight, but Kaido looks already struggling.
However Kaido is well renowned for acting as punching bag so he underestimated Luffy here and shall not commit the same mistake twice eventually.

That´s why you do not judge matchups based on levels but abilities.
Law has the perfect counter vs Kaidou and BM, he can ignore their durability altogether.
And they are slow as fuck, at best they block it with Haki.
All the scabbards except Raizo depending on the ability used are physical fighters which the Yonko excel at with their attributes.
He by himself would obviously not stand a chance but if somebody takes the heat for him and he can act freely? Best support besides Marco.
And Kid´s path is vague enough that Oda can do anything with him.

And if Shanks himself cut his arm, also ok for consistency sake.

Big mom annoyance at how easily Kaido got hit show Oda attention to details
BM always take extra measures to defand herself from any attack even if she think the attack is weak, while Kaido like to take the attacks head on

Chapter 1 --- Luffy attack a Giant Fish
Chapter 100 --- Luffy meets Dragon
Chapter 1000 --- Luffy attacks a Giant Fish Dragon
Also Luffy declared his Dream in all these three Chapters.
At the end of Chapter 100, w had 5 First Straw Hats exiting East Blue & entering New Era
In Chapter 1000 we now have 5 Supernova who will also define a New Era
If we combine Title of This Chapter & last one, we get: "The Sake i brewed to Drink with You, Straw Hat Luffy"
This Chapter will also be released in Issue 5-6 which is Luffy's Number (Go Mu)
Also Roger is mentioned in all of Chapter 1, 100, 1000
In Chapter 100, Buggy & Alvida were shown together, similar to Kaido & Big Mom

Oda still didn't want to reveal Luffy & Roger's Goal even in Chapter 1000 that was Luffy centric
That means it's left for the Ending of Wano or the whole Story
It's actually candidate to be Final Scene in Final Chapter & we will get to see their Words after Luffy fulfilled that Dream & it will be double Panel with both saying it & smiling, very similar to Final Scene of WCI where Sanji & Zeff were shown together

Wtf are you going on about? Read the manga and stop spewing your bs head canon. You are assuming you know how strong Kidd is when the only known losses he has are to “Red Hair Pirates” and Kaido. When was it shown that Kidd could not beat a commander? Almost 2 years ago he went into BMs territory without any intentions of fighting, got what he wanted, injured a commander in the process and dipped. And yet your interpretation of this is “Kidd can’t beat a Sweet Commander”. Lol learn how to read. Also Kidd sinking BM ships is more recent than when he invaded to steal something. It’s two separate conflicts that happened at different times.
Lol It’s hard to read correctly when you’re reading with a bias. It’s going to be funny seeing how many Kidd downplayers get salty and start crying “asspull” when Kidd starts putting in work against the Yonko. Oda has kept Kidd’s power level relatively vague for a reason.
