Since scabbards could hurt Kaido, others above them could do it as well.
And this chapter proves it with Zoro and Killer hurting him without Adv CoA.

Maybe those are the Characters who managed to harm Kaido & threaten him
Xebec managed to make those strong pirates team-up & it's said that they fight among each other a lot so not only Kaido fought WB but this could imply that Xebec defeated all Rocks Members to convince them to team-up under his command.
They fought Roger in God Valley & he fought Oden 20 years ago
Maybe he faced Shanks recently too

So that's why he remembered all of those after Luffy hit him, maybe they are the Characters who almost defeated him & those he respects the most

Y'all know I try to be objective and reasonable unless its a Lanji fan or regarding Lanji. But Zoro vs Killer was a Low Diff-Mid Diff at best.

Zoro Nerfs

• Half blind, one eyed guy
• Protecting 2 ppl
• Fending Off 2 unrelated People
• Stomach Ache/Poisoning
• Hunger
• Missing his strongest meitou, Black Blade Shusui

Killer Nerfs

• Tortured from Orochi (assumed, but I'll give the benefit of doubt)
• Mental Instability from Smile/Laughing
• Not using his weapons (Big Nerf)

Zoro had still beaten him in 0.1 Seconds. literally 1 panel.

If Zoro was at full HP, with 3 swords, this time Enma/Shusui, without fighting/protecting 2 ppl; and Killer had his weapon + no smile, it would have still been a Wash/Low Dif.

It wouldn't have ended in 0.1 second tho. Maybe ten minutes

Having Fujitora, you have to be kidding me if you think that having one eye Closed is a Nerf.
When the fight started , he wasnt protecting Hiyori and Otoko, they weren't involved.
Killer should have the same Stomach Ache/Poisoning.
They 2 should have been hungry.
And Zoro is still strong with 2 Swords, not like Killer, who wasnt using his mains weapon :)

Is it wrong that Sanji got the attention of more significant figures in Wano, and had more significant forces sent after him which failed to capture him in the end ?

Zoro's the guy who killed a bunch of randoms, while Sanji is the guy who

- Opposed the men of Orochi's strongest subordinate who basically controls the Capital
- Had an All Star send the Flying Six after him
- Fought the Flying Six in the Capital and could not be aprehended by them
- Caused the Capital to be Swept by the Flying Six, X Drake and Hawkins in continous efforts to apprehend him, and they once again failed when they run into him

Sanji get's the attention of the biggest name under Orochi, an All Star, the Flying Six, and all the WG members under Kaido beside Apoo who fucks around with the numbers. Basically all types of big names, while Zoro killed a random figurehead and no noteworthy figure was assigned to chase him down and deal with him.

Zoro literally tried to Kill Orochi, safe to say Zoro clearly got more attention from significant people in Wano than Sanji.

Sanji has literally done that one thing, has had no significant role in Wano that separates himself from rest of SHs (for first 2 acts), hasnt really developed any connection with any citizens of Wano and yet because he fended off Flying 6 and Hawkins he is more notorious and/or significant than Zoro or Has done more than Zoro in the Wano arc for first 2 acts

act 3 is a different discussion as that involves onigashima and war
