With Shield Hero it’s different than Redo of Healer. What pissed me off about that show was the same cheap writing tactic of making everyone but the Shield Heroes allies pieces of shit so that you have no choice but to root for him to get back at the people who did him wrong. I wouldn’t have a problem with this if it wasn’t so obvious that the author wanted us to hate all the other characters not on his side. Even the 3 other heroes he’s summoned with are assholes too (and of course they end up way weaker than the shield hero). It’s pretty much like they use what he went through in the first episode as an excuse to make him a op Gary Stu for the rest of the story. Idk if it’s just me that felt that way but that show just rubbed me the wrong way.
