I think Oda did a great job giving Enma and how Zoro has to train it and make it a black blade to make it a strong sword.
That way it isn't something given so easily to Zoro and an actual Liability at first.

However, Oda keep mentioning Oden fucks this all up. Just my opinion.

I think Oda didn't do the Haki system any favours in the recent years, tbh.

First we get to know that they're Advanced versions of each Haki type, the first one being FS, but then there's Luffy, a FS user, saying he needs more training because he thought Sanji sensed someone he couldn't.

CoA is a straight up confusing now. Kaido doesn't know what Advanced CoA is, but uses Haki on his club, Oden doesn't know what WB/Roger did but is a master Ryou user and then we have people now throwing around the term "Odens Haki"

Enma is a training wheel, did it make Zoro stronger ? Yes. But is it in itself something that powers you up instantly if you pick it up? No.

It’s like dumbbells, they make you stronger, but you ain’t gonna gain 50 pounds of muscle just by picking one up.

You use that Dumbell to make yourself stronger, Continuously. Until you're ready to handle more.

It's not that he doesn't literally know the concept. He doesn't know how to distinguish different levels of Haki and simply associates having high level Haki with Oden's Ryou. That's why he referred to the Scabbards Haki as Oden's Ryou.

These are the two "haki boxes". (😂😂😂😂)

There is one box that is accumulated haki over time. Which is how Enma will turn black by the end of the arc because it has accumulated all of Oden's haki.

Then there's another box which is current haki. This is the haki Enma currently sucks in and releases. That's how Zoro is fighting using Enma right now.

Enma is dying to slay Kaido, it can't wait for it, and neither can we.

Omg, if you can keep Haki indefinitely, then why can only one sword? Why is he then included in the TOP 21 blades, and not in the TOP 12? After all, he completely changes the whole concept of Haki! Why then did not Oden cut Kaido in half with this Enma? AND? Why did he leave a bunch of Haki supplies inside him then? When is such an enemy in front of him?

Yes, that is incorrect.

But compared to the work Zoro needs to put in with Sandai/Shusui is drastically different with Enma.
Enma is like a Project, Zoro has too fully understand and practice.
Whereas the other swords were like homework, they had no extensive drawback.

You could say Sandai had problems, but after Whiskey Peaks, Zoro tamed it with ease.
Whereas with Enma even after such vast sword knowledge from childhood + pre-timeskip + timeskip + new world, Zoro still has difficulty mastering it.

Enma is the hardest Sword Zoro has had to tame yet.

Mine^^ Until it's confirmed, kaido doesn't know about "adv coa", he is just calling it "oden's ryou".
So we can say scabbards know adv. coa but the efficiency depends on their lvl of strenght. Luffy adv coa + his strenght made Kaido to think about the legends lol!

Kaido fought with Shanks and other top tiers , so he should know about advance amarment. Guess he is calling it Oden haki due to post trauma and oden was the only one who manage to scare him..
