Everytime Zoro ''hurt'' Dragon Kaido was when the man was distracted by something else, if its in a 1vs1s he will have his full attention towards Zoro, and i dont see Zoro doing half the shit he pulled then.
Yeah, I think Zoro may find it harder to land his attacks, but he'll still land them. This just raises the difficulty.
he has a lightning attack too
It's irrelevant:
- The Scabbards dodged it
- The Scabbard could not react to Demolition Gust, but Zoro does while carrying Luffy
- Zoro's reactions >> Scabbards
- It's never landing on Zoro
- Zoro tanked Mama's much stronger lightning attack.
i'd wager he has an ice one(this is just a theory, but given that chinese dragons control the elements and that in the games he has an ice attack too, i wouldnt put it past him)
- I'll grant him it if he shows it in Hybrid form
- Ice can be cut through
- Zoro has fire abilities though, so I don't see this working either way
Meaning, he can evade Zoro's attacks by flying or doding, he was shown to be agile enough to do so, and then just spam lightning and ice attacks until Zoro loses.
- Tatsumaki is kind of impossible to dodge when you're in range.
- Kaido saw Tatsumaki coming and still got hit
- Zoro didn't expect him to dodge Hiryuu Kaen (he'd never dodged before).
- Zoro will be more careful with his upper tier techniques in a 1 vs 1
There is no way Zoro wins this 1vs1 against Dragon Kaido from what we've seen so far.
I'd say the exact opposite TBH, but I understand where you're coming from.
Zoro does a lot more damage per minute than vice versa. Kaido might do some damage, but the only reliable attacks is physical attacks with his Dragon body, and that's just asking Zoro to dice him apart.
And the other panels just confirm that he twisted his neck (S) in an upward curve, he was not falling. !!!
Thanks for the effort. However, it still looks to me like Kaido was falling, but eh, this isn't that important.
I don't feel comfortable about calling Dragon Kaido a top tier anymore.
He seems beyond all high tiers though.
Even then the WG couldn't successfully put an already injured Dragon Kaido down and one of them got eaten by him.
- Kidd, Killer and Law were irrelevant.
- Luffy was dead weight.
- Zoro only cared about protecting Luffy.
Doubt they'd be more successful in one on one battles.
I'm only talking about Santoryu Zoro though:
- He has on panel countered Dragon!Kaido's entire offensive arsenal
- He can deal significant damage with mid tier attacks
- His high tier attacks would severely hurt Kaido
I don't think Zoro is on the same level as the irrelevant Supernova, so pointing them out wouldn't change my opinion. Luffy seems to need Boundman to match Santoryu Zoro currently.
