Oden didn't channel his haki through retainers !

At first Kaido wonder how are they hurting him... he thought they wouldn't...then he realised perhaps they are using the same type of haki as Oden
That's why he calls " Oden's ryuo"

You don't see Kaido saying " why am I feeling Oden's presence in their blades" coz their blades dont have Oden's aura/haki.

Retainrs never had Oden's haki/aura in their blades...they could just use the same haki that everyone can use (level 2) while Enma has Oden's haki in it...coz Oden was using that blade

This is why you guys think Oda is confusing people.

Enma has Oden's aura/haki/presence in it. When zoro uses enma, it releases Oden's.
Retainers were using the same ryuo/haki as Oden did but they just lacked the power!
Luffy is using not just ryuo/haki but even the last stage.

Kaido did sense Retainers haki, that's how he was comparing/wonder if they are using same ryuo as Oden!

While here, he isnt sensing Zoro's haki but Oden's! He was wondering and made sure then concluded "this is Oden's katana"

I feel like Kaido senses Oden's haki in enma means Zoro emits his haki/ryou as strong as Oden's haki/ryou that made Kaido reminded of him

But yeah i also agree enma is special

  • Do we know that Luffy did not just invent Gatling to face Kaido after his earlier defeat
    • He never used Gatling before the current fight even when it would have been useful
      • It would have made quick work of Cracker
      • When he first breached Katakuri's durability he could have taken him out then
      • He could have beaten Doflamingo in the first round with Gatling
    • Inventing a new technique to face Kaido after his previous showed itself to be insufficient seems fitting.
    • Luffy raised his base stats in Udon.
    • We saw Luffy training his Boundman to the extent that he can now use KKG more casually.

I'm not really sure it's warranted to assume that Luffy was just hiding Gatling in store all this time. Especially as we know Luffy spent time improving his base stats in Udon and then specifically training Boundman before facing Kaido.

Around 2 years back ,mr morj predicted that bigmom will go down along with kaido & to me that idea felt too far fetched I.e. how can two yonko go down simultaneously.

So conclusion is- be open to every possibility & just enjoy the story. This is the best time to be a fan of one piece.

However I Don't. agree with him regarding the "raid fail".
