ig we all can agree.. if luffy didn't have his DF... he'd still be strong with a weapon of choice.. and still the strongest too DIS DAY in the crew.... he already has the best Kenboshoku (Obs haki) in the crew and the best ARNAMENT after fighting katakuri and cracker...
A luffy without the DF will depend solely on brute strength and use a weapon of choice soo.. he will be twice as strong throughout the series without needing to rely on the DF in his base (physically) .. with the expense to durability and mobility .. due to no DF... but let's assume that during his training with Reiligh he spends more time with haki and weapon of choice and getting skilled at the weapon .. and not intervals for adapting that haki to his DF like he did in actual onepiece . so with that it increases his over all durability.. with ARNAMENT.. and reflexs with The weapon (prolly a sword.. he likes samurais💀) training
so now i kinda get why he wasn't given a sword instead of A DF... coz that would beat the reason for having zoro on the crew..... ehmm.. and the title of thr strongest swordsman... ehm
