Marco is clean as a baby after regenerating his head and big chunks of his body a number of times.

The fact that he's showing lasting damage in terms of blood and bruises, and he's talking about exhaustion from his part is not a good sign. This is damage and fatigue that is beginning to stack.

Marco ate a punch from Garp (the guy who flattens mountains as a warm up) and was only slightly bruised on the cheek. I don't think King has Kizaru or Garp's destructive power.
