I think Oden will be able to break the barrier , he was just surprised he entcounters a DF he doesn't know that is a logic reaction and just because the old man told Orochi to have faith in the DF , doesn't mean that Oden cannot break. if that was the Logic Bartolomeo will be one of the top tiers right now but he is not. and by the way Kaido came to help Orochi so the DF was not the reason why Oden didn't kill Orochi and those two old people. Oden didn't use the same amount of Haki as he used against Kaido

only logias are "countered" by haki. most of laws powers work on people who cant resist with haki, except the ones where he physically cuts people and physically moves them around in his room because armament haki is a physical stat boost

Problem with Haki is that Oda couldnt simply copy and paste "Nen" explanation.
But Haki is nothing more than just discount Nen.

At least Togashi threw right at the beginning that "Specialist" is the "I can create any kind of power I want and it won't contradict shit".

In Dressrosa, he

(1) Can't cut Doffy like Vergo, because Doffy's Haki is too strong.

(2) but his Haki is not strong enough to stop Shambles or Gamma Knife

(3) but his Haki is too strong to stop personality switches.

Complete mess. Same here with him dropping Kaido and Big Mom into the sea.

He can bypass Kaido's durability with Gamma Knife, but he can't teleport him.

Thats simple to answer. Because donflaminngo wasnt purely focused when he shambled him. Hence why he law and luffy had to rely on arguing with each other to only attack each other which then confused doffy allowing law to shamble him into luffys punch.

Hell this was further emphasized based on the fact that law couldn't even shamble people out of the birdcage

you are just not understanding haki goes up and down and there isnt a power level number like dragonball. your willpower and focus arent always the same. you need to be calm to use observation for example.
