Learn to read kaido within this chapter confirms that zoro has advanced kings haki since he is able to project his will into a physical form(ashura). However zoro didn't know that he actually had it and therefore can't imbued his attacks with it as of yet

Adv CoA just allows it's users to bypass Kaido's skin but to truly leave a scar on Kaido or damage him, CoC maybe required.....Maybe that's why he is incredibly hard to damage and defeat as very few users in the OP world have both....It's just my thoughts lol

A : Law is conscious in the end, the attack didn't hit him it seems that attacks with CoC do damage before they make contact.

Yeah they can damage him but I guess you need Enma to kill him thats why Oden gave him a scar
