Oda's philosophy of "plot over logic" creates of lot of cool scenes and moments, but, at the same time, dumbs down the characters to a point where it's KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINDA hard to buy whatever is going on. I just accept some things and move on.

I think we need to see them as real people, often we do things that we shouldn't or we need to get pushed to a situation where we have to make more effort in order to deal with it, even knowing that we could've done it before, asking them to be "big brain" 100% of the time is too much
