Nice chapter .
The question is how long Oda keeping luffy out for until round 3 .
Luffy will beat Kaido but people have to be crazy to think he would do it just after he learn CoC attacks in base form .
This following croc fight just on a bigger scale with this round him getting his foot in the door with CoC attacks .

So with Luffy down for a bit, looks like we’re headed to the “tragedy” part of the play before the climax. Probably the beginning of a lot of bad things for the alliance. Don’t think he’s going to be out too long though, looks like it’s on Yamato for a bit to delay Kaido. Luffy has, to this point, clearly been the most impressive against Kaido, for fighting him as long as he has and in his base form while Kaido stayed in hybrid. When he comes back and incorporates his advanced CoA and CoC with his gears, along with his FS, it’s definitely going to be a different picture.

Don’t know who’s going to grab him though. He’s a bit too far off for Yamato to get him, especially if Yamato starts dealing with Kaido, and Marco is preoccupied at the moment. Should be interesting to see who does.

Didn’t necessarily like the development with Ulti, but I understood it. Nami isn’t quite ready for her yet. Ulti isn’t some scrub, she’s a veteran of the New World and a captain at that, so if they had engaged directly there, Nami loses. Ulti will be back up at some point though, and won’t be as strong thanks to her injury, which will be the time Nami fights her. It’s a good way to have Nami ascend to that level instead of skipping steps and just appearing there.

Poor Zeus. His sacrifice was well done and his talk interaction with Nami was well done (I kinda laughed when she turned away from him, it was kinda cute). Don’t think he’s done though because Hera at him and the black clouds at the same time, so theoretically he can just eat them in her mouth and escape down the road. Pretty sure he’ll still end back with Nami.

Pretty cool entrance by Kid, Law is next. Gonna be a good fight.

It’s kind of funny seeing the usual fanboys on this site clown around and troll Luffy, as if Law didn’t save their favorite character’s life and as if their favorite character isn’t wrapped up in bandages, taking a nap, and being carried and saved by Sanji while at the same time pretending that Luffy isn’t going to be the one to beat and finish Kaido for good. The jealousy is insane, and embarrassing, but this is Worst Gen, so that’s par for the course.

That aside, decent chapter, though the delay between Nami vs Ulti is disappointing albeit understandable. Shame there’s a break. But better now than when the tension from when things go really wrong starts building further.
