I still think it's happening. You can sort of see that the pattern here was to nerf Ulti and Page 1 enough for them to fight and win.

Even this chapter has dialogue that explains how Ulti is just another level beyond Nami. Combine that with their high recovery rate (but clearly not to 100%), and it allows a decent matchup when it arrives.

Especially if Zeus survives, you'd need a reason for Nami to use him again, so I can totally see a chapter dedicated to her winning, same with Usopp with Page 1 unless he's tied to Ulti as well.



Edit: Also the pure fact that Ulti's KO was anticlimactic. It occurred 3 pages into the chapter, was a one shot, and not even by the opponent she was facing. She's definitely coming back. Page 1 was shaking in the ground so he's definitely going to as well. The other F6 members are definitely respected a bit more lol

Can we finally agree Kid is at least YC1? He was able to stop big mom's combined napoleon/prometheus attack with only one hand(not even punk rotten), whereas Queen was getting destroyed by a nerfed big mom.

Honestly by feats, in terms of pure power, Kid's "base" techniques(ex. punk gibson) are comparable to whole cake island Luffy's boundman. Back then, Luffy needed to use a gear 3rd punch and Sanji needed to use a diable jambe kick just to block a weaker attack. With just his regular giant metal arm, Kid can fully block cognac and send big mom flying into the air(1009).

Again when has any YC2 shown feats this good? If Kid's regular giant metal arms are this powerful, then this easily scales punk rotten to be >>>dressrosa boundman. Feats definitely suggest this as punk rotten was literally shoulder throwing dragon kaido, who is enormous.

Honestly, Kid only looks bad when you try to compare him to Luffy.
