Chopper healing Zoro was a given from the moment Zoro said to take them to the main floor. What else were you guys expecting Chopper to do? Set his bones, throw a cast on him, and tell him to wait it out?

This is Choppers role in the crew. This medicine has never been used before, because the opportunity to use it has not yet presented itself. This is the moment that the medicine is needed, and therefore being used. When else is it supposed to be used?

I agree that it makes sense, the problem is that there was no foreshadowing or even hints of it at all. Revealing it in a single moment when it’s needed feels awfully convenient.

Somethings makes sense =/= it was good or presented well

It was a given that Chopper was going to heal Zoro. How exactly was he supposed to do that? Give him a pill, tell him get some rest, and call him in the morning?

Why can't it just be a normal healing then?
Why does it has to be conditional instant healing stuff which he apparently created in Zou which we get to know at this point? Thats is just bad writing. Just giving some fanservice to chopper fans at the cost of storytelling.... well not surprising given how trash this arc has been. But I won't be defending such shit anyway.

Anyhow this Chopper healing Zoro thing was clear from a mile away. Maybe Oda didn't foreshadow it, but it was obvious.
