Why?

Sanji randomly being able to hold off a YC1 and YC2 without using the RS. A majority of the F5 being wasted. The BPs officers not feeling threatening at all. Wasting over a dozen chapters on boring Udon filler and then proceeding to rush through the F5 fights so much that Usopp and Brook each fighting a F5 got cut entirely

This arc was honestly a mess; characters literally jumping levels in strength without any logical explanation. I mean, it was fairly consistent before Wano but it's taken to a whole other level.

Only explanation would be Queen and King aren't actually that strong as initially thought compared to Doffy/Kata/Cracker, but that still contradicts the balance of power between Yonkos.

Yep. Oda at this point seems like an author who has a check list of things that he wants to just x off one by one, offhanded explanation's are not enough to make us care, so...what does he do? easy, just make it hype!, "but oda luffy just got one shot 2 weeks ago" ya....cause its hype, never mind how detrimental it is to current events, "but oda if it took luffy 2 weeks to learn the basics of advanced armament how did he just use advanced kings?!"....hype!. "But Oda Zoro was just knocked out" doesn't matter give him a senzu bean to make it hype. "Oda Sanji was struggling against Page 1" doesn't matter because Sanji vs Queen is hype. What oda does is check off what he needs to write and improvise what's in-between, writing for young boys is.....just make it look cool. This has become pathetic.

The first thing, let´s wait for pics/chapter first.
F5 were a disappointment, no argument. But pre-TS we had Absalom.
They can still be relevant and get fights in a different manor, Nami and Robin did not get any fights in FI either.

I think Oda went too wide in NW but including so many support characters while putting too much focus on Luffy so he really had no time for anyone else and limbo'd the whole powerscale

Yep and this falls on to the editors not having the balls to call out Oda shitty writing. The editors had more power pretime skip but when the War saga of Marine Ford and IMpel Down made One Piece so popular the power of the series went more and more to Oda. So now there is no editor that can challenge Oda's writing. One Piece was so much better when the editors had more control.

Doffy = Low Admiral level
Luffy/Law >= YC1/King level
Vergo/Pica = YC2-3/4 level
Trebol/Diamante = Tobi Roppo level (Black Maria/Sasaki)
Numbers = Dellinger/Gladius/Senor Pink level

Zoro/Sanji were YC2-4, maybe YC1 for Zoro since Dressrosa. Now Zoro got Enma, and Sanji got RS, and they're both >= YC1 level. Nothing new here.
