King's statement and fighting style doesn't transfer to majority of swordsmen. To some, yes. But Roger and Shanks? Not at all. Roger is a pure swordsman. He has no Devil Fruit and fights primarily with his sword, which he amplifies with Haki. Even has a supreme grade blade he named his son after. Shanks is similar.

Kizaru, Big Mom and Fujitora I agree on.
Roger's fighting style is the same as Whitebeard's with his bisent.
Roger has already been shown using hands and pistols. Besides, he doesn't use his sword to cut

Shanks is anyone's guess. But it's a little dishonest to believe that Shanks remained a pure swordsman even after losing his main arm, your fighting style seems to be the same as Roger

uh you realize kizaru shot Marco pre seastone[/QUOTEStop
How can people seriously believe Mihawk > Yonkos when Oda doesn't even give him justice in the covers.
At least we Sanji Boys have several covers where Sanji and Zoro are portrayed as close, while Zolo bois fans don't have a single thing to put Mihawk above Yonkos if not the same sh*t about Hawkeye wanting someone stronger than pre-Yonko Shanks and we know that Red hair was not strong at all before becoming Yonko. :milaugh::suresure:
More like mihawk trying to prove that barrier fruit is not indestructible.

Zoro admits being a killing machine >>>>>>>> being a swordsman

Killing machine Shanks >>>>>>>>>>>>>> swordsman mihawk:cheers: :goyea: Oda gave a huge L to zorobois again. :kata:

Here it is. Mihawk is not a swordsman. He used a pocket knife against a swordsman who challenged him for the WSS title .

The fact he keeps the knife around his neck means he is prepared to use it against challengers.

Seriously. King words were true even early in the manga so nothing has changed.

King: Is there a need for stuff like styles & forms in battle?

He simply saying a swordsman is free to use whatever style they wishes to use in battle. Oda let everyone know anybody who claimed a fighter can't be a swordsman because they have and use another power like a DF power is wrong. If the pure swordsmanship claim was true Oda would have had King said he's not a swordsman.

This chapter elevates Mihawk's title so everybody who's claimed Mihawk isn't really strong because he can't beat characters that use a swordsmanship plus other powers or wrong. Oda just them to shut up and sit their ass down.
