It is to early to judge anything, we know that Ringo was the last region to fall to kaido and that happen 2 years after Oden died. So Kaido count capture that area for over 2 years. That mean this 3 guys and especially Ushimaru was a challenge for Kaido.
Ashura the one that got ko by an explosion was priced by Kaido...which he know is nothing compare to the 5 ruler in Wano.
Ushimaru has way more to show.

I mean you could say the same about Perospero and Big Mom, that Nekomamushi should chase after her since at the end of the day she is Perospero's Captain and he follows her orders

Like I said, it doesn't matter if King is the one who killed Ushimaru. You don't even know that. You are literally making baseless assumptions, when there's literally no mention that King saw to it the destruction of Ringu, or King saw to it that Ushimari died. It has only been Kaidou so far. It's the shit with Orochi.
