Yes.
The amount of plot convenience required for Luffy to beat Katakuri was ridiculous.
Big Mom literally said Marco would be troublesome to fight without her full power/homies.
And King literally has borderline top tier offensive power, so much so that he could overwhelm a (somewhat nerfed) Marco.
