The portrayal and handling of top tiers at Marineford is obviously a plot issue. Aokiji literally just disappeared after Jozu went down and didn't do anything for the rest of the war. Whitebeard couldn't break a damn wall.

- crocodile got stronger. this isnt anything close to a plot hole, his willpower was on a whole other level in marineford. a coward who'd never risk anything in his life was putting himself in deep shit for honor and friendships. man got protagonist energy.
- vista was going all out and sweating against an extremely casual and polite mihawk. not even close to equal portrayal. mihawk let zoro "clash" too in baratie before he clowned on him.
- aokiji literally left the marines over sakazuki's corrupt insanity. he obviously didnt support the war in the first place. you are saying foreshadowing and consistent characterization doesnt make sense
- whitebeard was dying of cancer and weaker than every one of his commanders in marineford, thats why they were protecting him. also the walls arent normal steel, they're the impact proof steel like that punk hazard door

It's like you want to give Yamato all the credit for the fact that kaido is remarkably nerfed right now, just because Yamato fought him last.

Injection shot also made Kaido spit blood, even more than tatsumaki. The difference is that these attacks were superficial and didn't work (Zoro himself admitted this).

I think I had a theory that said something like you need 20-30 years of usage of DF to awaken it. Both Doffy/Katakuri had their DFs since they were children.

Obviously, someone like Luffy will be the exception, but even he had 12 years of experience so far.

databook isnt canon. only manga is canon. and you dont remember how tough impel down was? crocodile was a level 6 prisoner, the most dangerous level, and he was the only one there having a good time. my man was casual. he got plenty of training in there.

Yes, he would do it to healthy Kaido. He hadn't taken any none shallow hits and wasn't out of breath showing exhausting until afterwards.

Ashura left a scar thats the difference. Showing hiw deep the cut is and made him start huffing, shivering.

If you don't want to do blood than Kaido was shivering, scar, hunch over. Zoro attacks also doesn't drain most of his stamina like them.
