Agree with almost all your points except this one. Enma wasn't a nerf on the rooftop. It's only a nerf when it's sucking your haki out like it was doing this chapter and when Zoro used it for the first time. Zoro never said it was holding him back on the rooftop, at least iirc.

Well, this chapter did imply that you conquer Enma by overloading it with your haki, CoC specifically. Zoro was actually doing the opposite, trying to keep his haki to himself to avoid being drained. This is what he said at the start of the rooftop after using Onigiri with NO hardening.



Translation "Gotta ease on the haki restriction a bit."

So basically he was not using Enma correctly.

congrats to zoro that succes to made their way following oden. that it was suppposed to be to be oden's successor as enma master, at least he need coc and proper use of coa lol, after all oden did it in his early age.

also enma isnt a nerf, enma just testing his new master, as zoro said in this chapter, oden get same treatment too by enma but oden overcome it and become easily use it, that's why zoro say even if enma keep sucking his haki and he ends up die, that ok because that is meant to be, he must overcome it and tamed enma by impress its high standart.

it wasnt a nerfed, it was zoro inability to use enma, through that test, zoro become stronger, that is why ppl say what doesnt kill you make you stronger.

Yeah, he wasn't able to use it to its full potential because earlier he said that he'll be stronger once he masters it but it doesn't mean that it was a nerf on the rooftop. The attacks would just be more powerful now.

Great chapter. Zoro vs King is turning out to be everything I thought and hoped it would be. Zoro getting some more backstory is always great, and King is a real challenge. And even with all that, Zoro’s line about Luffy at the end was the best part.

Gotta say though, the amount of people saying Zoro has advanced CoC despite literally becoming aware he had CoC in this chapter is embarrassing. But it’s WorstGen, so it’s not surprising. Zoro has a great chapter, so the super fanboys have to be toxic about it.

Anyways, can’t wait for this fight to continue. It’s getting real.
