While both CP0 and the Marines are under the World Government, the CP0 are specifically The World Governments agents and do things in the interest of the Government in particular, not the Marines.
The fact that Drake is apart of a secret agency within the Marines that seems to be operating outside of the World Governments orders is reason enough to try to kill him.

Drake's defeat is temporary, it comes as a variant to Hawkins sabotage or King's secret, the pattern is the same since the good (SWORD) needs to be put to the ropes by the evil (CP0) before prevailing. Drake will ultimately win the fight after we get deeper in the SWORD - CP0 conflict.
Now, this is my opinion before full summary/panels are out, and may look to much optimistic, but looks to me like the most logical outcome too.
Let the downplayers do their thing and just have some patience. Some of them will swallow their own words at some point.

Drake still does have a 1% chance and that's probably because of Luffy tbh because anyone that allies up with him seems to have to overcome some crazy odds and ends up in a tough or near fatal situation as seen with both Bege and Law in WCI and Dressrosa respectively.
We also still have yet to really understand SWORD's motives so it can't be over just yet, that'd be weird.
People are mad, because we're complaining our fights were rushed after not having one for over 10 years since Enies Lobby or with Zoro Thriller Bark. Which is Luffy has all the fights anyways spread the panels to the people aka (the rest of the SHs) LOL

It was a solid or even upper medium difficulty fight. King pushed Haoshoku Zoro further than Pica ever did.
He tanked two attacks of Zoro, blocked countless attacks from him, managed to knock Zoro to the ground and matched him head on in CQC.
Zoro also required anew ultimate technique to fell him.
What a stupid argument:
Other translations reinforce that the sentiment Issho was conveying was that Zoro's attack was ferocious/brutal/particularly troublesome.
With all due respect, trying to say that Issho was saying that Zoro's attack was childish makes you look like an idiot.
