I actually made a whole theory on this. Lemme see if I can find the thread.

G4 is equivalent to Super Saiyan 3 while COC is equivalent to God Ki.

Once Goku got God Ki he never used Super Saiyan 3 since it drained Ki pointlessly.

Luffy might be the same.

I mean Luffys been fighting Kaido for far longer now with his AdCoC upgrade, if he used G4 he would’ve been gassed out way before.

And remember Luffy did use a G4 AdCoC coated attack on Kaido when he came off of Momo.

Its just that its an obsolete form now and is only detrimental to him imo.
