It's weird cuz the translation makes it seem like the Gorosei are talking about Zunisha when they refer to the Devil Fruit that has awakened. I guess the question we should be asking is if "Akuma No Mi" is the name of the devil fruit or are they just translating the Romanized name of Devil Fruit in English?

I think the Gorosei dialogue heavily implies that they’re not ancient/immortal like a lot of us (myself included) thought.
