What do you mean lesser feat? Big Mom is a Yonko. She rules 1/4 of the New World, and she is one of the strongest characters in the entire World, that Kaido himself acknowledges that a serious fight against would be to the death. Her losing, would have just as a monumental impact on the entirety of the One Piece World, as Kaido losing. On what planet should she be considered a "lesser feat", of being defeated?
Because Kaido is the WSC and also, Kid and Law aren't 1v1ing her

What do you mean Oda doesn't care about stuff like that? Name me one character Oda has built up as a antagonist to Luffy, that he handed off to someone else to lose to. Law couldn't even get the W against Doflamingo, when he had way more of a build up and reason to be the one to take him down.
can you think about what one piece will be like post wano and tell me exactly how it makes sense for Linlin to still be a threat to Luffy when he is beating the stronger yonko

Plot.
The fat bitch beat them without using acoc
And left them there instead of finishing them off
She only got herself to blame if she loses
Kidd and Law wasn’t even down for a minute. Big Mom looked at the rooftop for a second, and got attacked by Law. Law was definitely conscious and would have done something anyways if Big Mom went for a finisher, Kidd was just momentarily gassed

It does matter, as the first Yonko losing to the protagonist is a pivotal moment in the story. Even if Law and Kid are secondary protagonists, they are protagonists none the less. Oda has built this moment up for over 20 years. To have another Yonko fall to two of his rivals, right before Luffy takes down his first Yonko, would be very uncharacteristic of Oda, especially since he built up such an antagonistic relationship between Big Mom and Luffy, just one arc prior, over the course of almost 90 chapters.
Facts and midd fans wont understand that

Big Mom is going down next. The question is simply when. She's being 2v1'ed, it's entirely different from Luffy winning alone against the arc antagonist.

What I "can" see is this just being dragged out for as long as possible. You tie up all other plotlines, give more chapters of them fighting, give Luffy vs Kaido more chapters of fighting, give them their Rocks flashback, then in a 1, 2 Punch with consecutive chapters, take them both out.

Akainu and blackbeard have grown alongside Luffy with them becoming fleet admiral and emperor over the timeskip. Big Mom on the other hand is part of the old guard. She's been sitting in her cake island for years doing nothing.

Please tell me how on earth Linlin can be a relevant threat to Luffy post wano? Luffy already:
  • ruined her reputation
  • stole her poneglyph
  • defeated her commanders
  • destroyed her castle
  • destroying her world domination plans by defeating kaido

It honestly seems to me that the people who want linlin to come back in elbaf are arguing this just because they don't want Kid to get a single win in the series. She has no place in the final stretch of the manga. Elbaf is the strongest country on earth and its run by people who despise her. She isn't going to be the villain of elbaf and she might not even make an appearance in that arc.

Luffy himself cares so little about her that he was focused entirely on kaido during the rooftop. She isn't an EOS antagonist, get over it.

kazenbo just took out yamato. we got fireworks coming any second now i hope
Tbh i don't think she's failing. The entire island exploding doesn't really make sense from an writing perspective because then you have to spend literal chapters drawing every character reacting to it and showing their placement.

She just got engulfed by it hit the ice is probably still frozen. I think Marco is going to control the fire last second and put it out.

Nice word salad, but we literally got a "VS" chapter, and that's either the ultimate or penultimate battle chapter.

Hawkins' card predicted BM's defeat, and Law/Kid have been saying over and over they're going to take her down.

I mean, she may end up using her ice to seal the explosives her and gazenbo together in this room so that if she does fail the island won’t explode (similar to what Pell did)

Bruh, Luffy is defeating a Yonko who has sustained a massive amount of damage already. That's a far cry from Big Mom, who has suffered barely a handful of attacks that caused any real significant damage. The gap between Kaido and Big Mom is not that huge. Luffy is far and above the strength of current Law and Kid, and he still hasn't even showcased his new abilities in G4, outside of one attack from Snakeman.

You really believe that Law and Kid, who are pretty much on deaths door at the moment, are going to be capable of reaching G4 + AdCoC, +AdCoA + AdCoO status, in order to beat Big Mom, with their awakening?

What kind of shit would that be? Oda puts Kaido through the ringer by 20 different characters, but relatively fresh going into the 2v1 Big Mom gets beaten by two characters, and a handful of awakening attacks?

They said over and over they were going to take down Kaido as well. Guess after they beat Big Mom they'll be heading to the roof to take for for Luffy.

Funnily enough, this chapter they didn't say they'd take her down. They said they would stop her from going to the roof.

Law/Kid have been saying over and over they're going to take her down.
Well according to the dialogue from this chapter, it seems like now they want to stall her.

Big Mom: Seems like you brats really want my head...
Kidd: ......
Kidd: Hahaha...for some reason I get the feeling I'm fighting for something else entirely...
Law/Kidd: Even if I die!
Law/Kidd: I'm not letting you go to the roof!!
Chapter 1031 has them saying they want to defeat her but in this chapter they are saying they want to stall her.

They said over and over they were going to take down Kaido as well.
Pretty much, Kid has said multiple times that he wants to defeat Kaido and then suddenly he changes his mind and goes after Big Mom and says he wants to defeat her, and now in this chapter it seems like instead of defeating her he just wants to stall her and prevent her from going to the roof.

By defeating her, she doesn't get to the roof. That's it, it's not rocket science. If they die, they she must not be able to get to the roof, therefore be defeated. Their words, not mine.
