There is nothing to compare. Luffy split the sky with the strongest living being. He is above Big Mom. Kid has to 2 v. 1 Big Mom.

Big mom split the skies with him too. Everyone in the world knows about big mom and kaido, sengoku knows they have a fierce rivarly. Luffy in chapter 1000 said he wants to suprass the two of them. In Plural form if he suprasses big mom he suprasses kaido vice versa.

Theres no way oda would let newcomers outshine the monster trio. Kidd is the law of this arc. He will lose just like law lost in dressrosa and he will join luffy after. And theres a reason why sanjis brothers were captured coz its going to be sanji who will save them and so its going to be sanji vs big mom and zoro vs kaido for the final battle.

To be honest I've been saying Kid/Law were going to lose this round despite believing in Meme defeat. It woule have been an awful portrayal if she lost in the "first" round. Look how many times Luffy got beaten by Kaido. She needed to look overwhelming first

Kaido is not the strongest living being. Imu, Dragon, Gorosei, Admirals, Shanks, Linlin... alot of people most likely being above him.
Splitting the Sky is clashing of CoC. We know Kid is able to use CoC. Is quite possible he split the Sky with Kaido even before Luffy met Kaido. But since he is not the MC, it wasnt shown.
Kid even implied he is holding back with law on his side, since he dont trust him.
