I don't think that is the case...kings race ability is broken, they pretty much don't get hurt when flame is there....I mean that all he had going...

There's not really a good reason to justify Big Mom getting up again in terms of Wano's plot.

It's not about which idea is better, but about what Oda is going to do.

This manga since the timeskip is totally Luffy centric and Luffy still has issues with Big Mom while Law and Kid have no connection with her.

In any case, that Big Mom hasn't shown awakening is a clear sign that Law and Kid will fail.
