Luffy's been stacking G3 and G2; that's not "base". And he already used most of his best moves pre-G4 and changed to G4 coz it's not enough.

sure it is not enough to overpower Kaido but enough to fight for long period of time against him Kaido could not overpower Luffy either basically he cannot land as many attacks as Luffy , Luffy can dodge better than Kaido , using his FS that allows him to avoid many attacks , but at the other side Kaido has the endurance and can take Luffy's attack head on , they hurt but they don't cause a lasting damage that could defeat him. but as Luffy always do many attacks that hurt a little can do the trick , that is how it was against Lucci and will end up like that against Kaido

G2 and G3 and are incorporated in his base hence theres no other conclusion than it being his "new base"

G3 became less of a "form" in comparison to pretime skip when he had to be G3 the entire time. He's also constantly jumping in and out of G2 hence no steam.

Imo his natural endurance, supported with both awakening and CoC Coating. You dont find anyone with this endurance anywhere ever lol, especially who also have both AdvCoC and dragon fruit. Mofo literally gave free hits while playing around because no one could seriously challenge him.

They're referred to as gears for a reason. Luffy can use them more easily now, it doesn't mean they're incorporated into his base. G3 in particular is far from Luffy's base.

Kaido is an Oni who ate one of the strongest mythical zoans. His pure fighting capabilities are near unparalleled, which is further enhanced by ACoC.

The reason why Luffy is able to keep up with him is because he has mastered all 3 forms of haki.

and as he used Snakeman Katakuri was able to avoid the majority of the attacks thanks to his FS , the few attacks that hit him defeated him at the end.
Kaido doesn't have FS and will tank those attack and the next possible awakening attacks. Luffy's fighting style is the best out there.
