I actually like the cartoonish style of Gear 5--it takes me back to the beginning of the series. Ridiculous works, and is effective because of how unexpected it is. Didn't an editor say that the end of Wano was surprising? I wonder if this is what was meant.

Very divisive chapter, some loved it, some wants to drop OP
I personally like that this is Luffy’s final power-up as it fits his character, Oda sticking with what he wants to draw.

There are glaring plot holes but easily fixable, this was only 1 chapter after all. The world government not sending full force in hunting down Luffy for example, though that is such a blatant inconsistency that everyone can think of. The author 100% already has an explanation for it before going through with this, some people need to relax
