after re read the chapter
kinda Extremely Controversial decision by Oda to go for a unique Zoan fruit based on someone that has - by Oda's standards - barely been foreshadowed. Nika wasn't namedropped in Skypeia at all (and you could argue that a large part of the mythology applied to the giant snakes being revered as sun gods back then due to Aztec Myths as a theming device) and both Who's Who randomly spouting conspiracies at Jimbei 30 chapters ago as well as this weird conversation by the Gorosei seem very hamfisted compared to Oda's usual style. (too sudden)
I like the toon force style powerup as Gear 5/Awakening, but the same could be achieved by keeping it as the Gum Gum fruit and that's not even touching this whole can of worms it opens up regarding the WG's inactivity regarding the fruit, the entire determination vs determinism angle?, the fact that apparently zoans house actual spirits of living beings now and that somehow Luffy is the only awakened Zoan in an arc that should be the primary Zoan showcase... so, all zoan have souls or just hito hito no mi who have souls inside of it?
I am extremely curious how Oda plans on resolving all of this, but this reveal feels very clumsy ... something I get from the entirety of Wano tbh. I hope that we get some behind the scenes stuff on the frankly baffling focus shifts, weirdly sidelined subplots and other curiosities surrounding this arc.

After luffy lost from world for training , marines did not find because rayleigh hide him at very special area . Then he appears fishman island . And we are at wano . Between fishman island and wano , i guess there are just less than 3 months . For human years , there is 12 years :) how did you expect wg capture luffy ? Fishman 3 4 days , dresrosa 1 day , zou one week , during all the time , they is changing their location so fast . As marco said there are toooooo many island in the one piece world .
Between carrot transformation and wano sulong transformation must be one month cuz of moon situation at least . This the wci and current wano time scale . Before wci , zou and tripping wci must be 1 month or something .

I'm talking about the people making 5000 word essays on how it ruined the series and complaining about plotholes before giving Oda the chance to explain it, and the 5000 word essays in response countering each of the plotholes with assumptions and headcannon. Just wait ya'll, they're clearly not done talking about this.

...Honestly Kaidou's Health Bar is like Yiazmat or Penance from Final Fantasy Series. It's never-ending. His fruit is focused on AoE and dura-increasing, a good fruit but not that special compared to fully hax fruit like Ope2 or Gravity Fruit etc. Him enduring all the damage to that extent and still only being serious since Luffy reach Skysplitter level, imo is due to his natural endurance and health being far higher than any other character in One Piece, possibly ever. He can steal his enemy's movement pattern after observing it for a while, and in Drunk Mode he's just started being serious with his offense and defense, what kind of cheat character is this lol? It's like you want to feed a character with every max stat possible, except maybe CoC tech.
Wondering what will Shanks have up his CoC sleeve to have relevant hype after Kaidou The Master.

Since Luffy fights the way he imagines, then i believe next Chapter Luffy gonna be inspired by none other than his own Crew & use their own Techniques against Kaidou.
I believe Luffy gonna remember Sanji & will make his entire Body burst in Flames or only his Leg
He will also Robin & use a Gigantisco Clutch Move
As for Zoro, Luffy will wanna use a Sword & conveniently there is a Huge Sword nearby that Luffy can lift & use
He will start using many Transformations like Chopper (Jumping, Muscles Point, Heavy Point, Kung Fu ... etc)
He will also his Awakening to shoot some things at Kaidou or return his Attacks to him with accurate aim to mimic Usopp (Similar to Yeti fight)
