It was just Zoro using CoC not a CoC clash you donkey.
Zoro used his CoC barrier to push King away rather than CoC clash since KIng has no CoC.
But bring in someone who also has AdvCoC no touch barrier and it becomes CoC clash.
That's why King's sword can't get past Zoro's barrier.
Even a blind nun could so it as clear as a fucking crystal

You can't scale Roger/WB against Kaido by portrayal because they are from different era and have different legacy.
According to your portrayal logic, Kaido and Big mom are equal too
The people of one piece world said bet on Kaido 1v1 supposedly even during Whitebeard was alive, and the one piece world called him strongest living thing.
So portrayal logic says Kaido > any being right??
Pretty sure Old WB would eventually fall in the hands of other Yonko in the future even if MF war doesn't happen. WB maintain his title because no one has or have the urge to take him, whether he is getting older and weaker with health issues, he will still remain at the top in the eyes of ppl who "used to know" about him decades ago, if no one takes him down, just like the so-called weakest Yonko by fans reign supreme in her throne for decades
