He is much worse than Moria. Lol. Moria at least had some cool themes revolving around being a foil to Brook and Luffy, acting as a fallen version of both characters.
Moria also wasn't built up for over 10 years in advance just to be a damp squib. He was just introduced with no prior hype before his arc.
If you hate Moria regardless then at least you only had to deal with a roughly 50 chapter arc instead of Kaido's painful 150 chapter arc.
Kaido is so unbelievably crap for an antagonist that is supposed to be a pinnacle of pirating in a manga about pirates. It is like Oda splurged all his creativeness for antagonists on the Warlords and Admirals, got to the Yonko and then thought "Fuck it, a gimmick and a generic warmongering meathead will have to do".
I swear Kaido only has the limited popularity he has because of his Yonko title. If he didn't have that then he would literally have nothing going for him.

The entire thing with Zoro and Wano is pretty simple- Oda didn’t need to stick it in, and now that he has, he needs to follow through and give some explanations or it’s just poor writing. He’s made it a plot point that people from Wano have noticed he looks like Ushimaru (and Ryuma), we know that there is a relation between him and the Shimotsuki’s, it would be passing strange if Oda just doesn’t connect the dots he’s laid out and tell us what the script is.
