I have no trust whatsoever in Oda in giving Kid any cool development after the debacle and shit fest in Wano.

If you think of Wano as Kidds Punk Hazard (comparing to Law)/ “Debut” arc, then I think Oda did more than enough for him. Now if Wano was all we got of Kidd playing a main role, then yes it would be very disappointing.
