Not really.
If Crocodile's plan had gone as intended, Mihawk would've been the Emperor as Crocodile & Mihawk talked about this chapter. And in that case, he would've been the one who would be percieved as being the mastermind of this organization & would've been shown to have Crocodile, another powerful Shichibukai worth 1.9 B, under him.
In that case his bounty obviously increases.
He obviously has, every Emperor has subordinate crews. It's been shown with Kaido, BM, WB, Luffy & BB so no reason to assume Shanks is any different.
Do the WG know that Crocodile is going after Pluton?
Yep, "immense level threat even in the current state of the world" was his exact statement.
Fair. But meeting with the Gorosei alone, that's the highest level of Influence a Pirate has shown so far.
That's what I'm saying, Mihawk getting such a bounty is hella impressive because even though Buggy is percieved as his Captain - they simply cannot ignore the threat he poses. And in the scenario that Crocodile wanted, Mihawk would be percieved as having the entire organization & Crocodile as his own subordinates -> ergo his bounty & reputation increases even more (and into the 4B range).

They sent fodders to chase Mihawk & Buggy when they disbanded the Shichibukai, when they were still treated as Warlords & as Akainu said multiple times, over & over again - they were strapped for resources because they had to protect the Royals coming for the Reverie as well.
When two Yonkos clash, it's not about their individual PL - it's about the entire crew & their empires colliding. Just look at the power vacuum & unstability, Whitebeard's death left. Also BTW which Admiral or Shichibukai did they send to intercept Shanks & Whitebeard meeting? Asking for a friend XD.

Brannew confirmed that Mihawk's swordsmanship surpasses even Red-Hair's : ergo confirming that Shanks is a Swordsman (who falls under the WSS).

How do they know Mihawk is better at sword fencing than Shanks? Did he told Shanks to deactivate his COC while they had their legendary duels?
