It's funny how you can tell Oda sat on shit for a long time as a result of the Yonko Saga. All of this stuff with Koby, Law and Blackbeard was talked about back in FI/Punk Hazard lol. Really the same idea's when you look at the Reverie fallout and what the intent was from the Shichibukai abolition movement.

I feel like we are finally getting to the return of "some" form of classic One Piece now that several massive plotlines have been resolved. I guess this will depend on what is next and how well it's done

Shanks is a much more dedicated swordsman than Green bull and so his Roger and both of them have much better Haki hypes.
If they didn't make a Blackblade and Green Bull did it and he isn't even primarily a swordsman from Admirals, Fujitora is, it makes negative sense.

Why not mention Green Bull in Mihawk's bounty rather than mentioning Shanks? Shanks sees Mihawk level black blade on Green Bull and doesn't even take a note. Hell no Wano samurai takes a note.

If Green Bull made a black blade and he isn't even primarily a swordman and his AdvCoC seems to be non existence, I highly doubt Black blade means much. It is just a throw away ability then.
But I am like 99.99% sure he just coated his sword black like Zoro did here
