Crocodile didn't hit the peak of his potential though. He's got room to grow via Haki and physical stats. Urouge improved during the time skip and he's older than Crocodile. Crocodile didn't need major power-ups to hit a level higher than YC1s. He was already more powerful than most of them as far as abilities go but he was a glass canon with terrible raw stats, which is all he was required to improve.

TBH, both of them suffered due to Oda's excessive indulgence of the shine of waste side characters. It has been so long since Luffy has driven the plot/had a character moment (nothing since chapter 949) and Zoro had any good character moment. Both characters did nothing more than just fighting big baddy and 2nd big baddy throughout the raid. I am against ZKK but Zoro's backstory/visiting Ryuma's grave/Nidai Kitetsu plot/double the backlash of the mink drug plot could have helped him as a character before leaving Wano.

Baby Mihawk thing is interesting though. They have made similar thing to Hancock. Literal replacement of warlords. It is as if they are trying to replicate the powers of all strong characters via pacifists. This can lead to an interesting development and bring massive hype in the final war. Imagine building a massive army based on the powers of all the strong characters in the verse including Roger,Rayleigh, WB, Xebec, etc. This SSG plot has so much potential. This is better than reviving dead characters like Naruto's final war.

Reason for his stoicism
Why he doesn't trust anyone
But then he lets someone close to him like Zoro and Perona
His Hawk Eyes and clear voyance

There is so much mystique around Mihawk right now..oda can make him a legendary character. His design is best in the verse already.

Wb’s casual attacks never ko’d Ace though, and seeing how strong Wb’s haki, plus physical strength that allows him to blow out magma with his breath, then you have Weevil becoming a warlord solely for having Wb’s pure physical strength, it’s safe to assume his casual attacks can nearly kill someone like Katakuri.

Anyway Ace might be lacking in defense but his AP is better than any YC we’ve seen aside from Zoro.

Pretty sure Crocodile hit his peak at 44 years old.. Urouge just went all out and shown the extent of his abilities against a YC, nothing says he improved.. Seems like just some Crocodile wank based on his Bounty honestly..
