I assume Pluton is not gonna be just a ship of destruction neither - it's probably gonna have it's own spirit too like the sunny/merry, but more visible.
Wouldn't Pluton then just rip apart Wano's borders itself, if it had the will? Contrary, the walls have to be breached from the exterior by Zunisha for Pluton to be unleashed.

How can we say that when we know next to nothing about the man ?
Their allies are the Navy. They have no other fighting force at their disposal.

The crew MUST defeat the Navy before they can attack the holy land.
@Cinera
We know Imu who didn't even appear is more important than him, we know even Blackbeard is more important than him.

Akainu is no different from fuji/kizsru/ryokugyu/kuzan do far.

  1. It's not clear that Imu is not actually a fighter
  2. Kong is a former Fleet Admiral
  3. Kong is the current Commander in Chief of the World Government
    • He is Sakazuki's boss
    • He is in charge of pall other World Government military resources

I think Sakazuki is very unlikely as:
  1. He is not even aware of Imu's existence
  2. He resides at Navy HQ while Imu sama resides in Marygeoise

You're failing to appreciate the fact that the World Government and Navy HQ are actually different factions.
This was a reply to your statement of if Imu isnt a fighter...

Kong is irrelevant. He didnt participate in Marineford. He has no backgeound with Luffy. Why the fudge would Oda make Luffy fight Kong's irrelevant ass instead of the man who killed his brother. Its just stupid to think this.

Neither does Kong know.

They are different factions....however the Marines report to the WG and work for them. The Admirals were the CD's bodyguards in the Reverie
Easily can be their bodyguards again.

Yeah you might be right. And Pluton can be rebuild, but from Franky's perspective he finds it difficult how can a ship like that be build so it must be something outlandish.

Perhaps Uranus is build from material from the six moons of OP. Or perhaps one of the six moons is Uranus (Death Star).

(Using "they" for Imu Sama to avoid the gender debates. I want to discuss something else right now.)

This chapter is a major L for all those that stubbornly insisted on Blackbeard (or someone else) being the Final Villain.

It never made sense in the first place. The World Government have always been the Big Bad and since long before Blackbeard entered the picture. Whitebeard basically told Blackbeard that he ain't that guy. That after his downfall, there would be an even bigger battle.

And Imu is an entirely different class of existence than Blackbeard. They sit on a throne Blackbeard could never aspire to reach.

Compare how Oda treats them. Just look at their first actions after the Wano arc ends.
  • Blackbeard runs away with his tail between his legs from a 78 year old retiree
  • Imu casually obliterates an entire kingdom

Low key I wouldn't be surprised if EOS Blackbeard gets stomped by Imu
(Of course, Luffy will still defeat Blackbeard, but if Blackbeard does ever challenge Imu sama, he probably just gets stomped.)

Imu's display of power is on an entirely different scale from anything we have seen from any other characters. Even the "man with the power to destroy the world" never demonstrated that level of raw power.

One Piece top tiers do not casually obliterate Lulusia sized Islands:
  • Mihawk's big flex (and truly one of the best feats in the series) was slicing a tsunami in two
  • It took Kaido an hour to move the (presumably smaller) Onigashima
  • Kuzan and Sakazuki only changed the climate/geography of Punk Hazard after a 10 day fight
  • Half of Marineford was destroyed when Garp, Sengoku and Shiki fought
  • The island Roger and Whitebeard fought on was not destroyed/damaged in any significant way
  • Linlin's biggest solo attacks (e.g. Ikoku Sovereignty) were never really at the level of destroying mountains.
  • Linlin and Kaido's Hakai was around the size of Onigashima/the skull
  • Enel spent a lot more time prepping his ship and lightning abilities and still didn't destroy Skypiea
  • God Valley was not destroyed despite the all out battle of multiple Top Tiers there
    • It was presumably later erased by Imu sama theirself
  • Prime Garp demolished 8 mountains while training to defeat Chinjao's drill
  • Rayleigh was surprised at the damage Seraphim Mihawk wreaked on Amazon Lily
  • Etc.

Hell, One Piece characters do not obliterate Islands period. Aside from perhaps Enel's attempts, I think this is the first time we're seeing an island be destroyed by any character
(I think it was mentioned that the Ancient Weapons do have the power to destroy islands/continents, and Imu may indeed be using an Ancient Weapon.)

Even the famed "Buster Call" of Navy HQ only deals environmental damage and obliterates the buildings/people, it doesn't actually erase the island from existence.

But this isn't even a fair comparison. I'm comparing the biggest feats of One Piece Top Tiers to the first "flex" of Imu.

We can compare the first flexes of other characters:
  • Mihawk: destroying a ship
  • Whitebeard and Shanks: sky splitting
  • Issho: meteor summoning
  • Kaido: stomping a couple post skip Supernova
  • Borsalino: stomping all 11 preskip Supernova
  • Garp throwing a massive canon ball
  • Kuzan freezing the sea between the Long Ring Islands
    • This was admittedly very impressive

And beyond the sheer power, Imu's display was chilling in a way that other flexes of power in One Piece just aren't.

See:

More than a raw feat of destructive capacity, this inspires terror/dread on a scale that One Piece just hasn't delivered ever.

Imu has been elevated to a scale far beyond the likes of contemporary One Piece Top Tiers and all other villains, both Pirates and Marines alike.

Imu wasn't included in Doflamingo's Throne Wars speech because they are an existence far beyond the likes of all of them. They are "above the fray" so to speak.

And their importance to the story naturally dwarfs Blackbeard.
  • The thing that Roger could not accomplish probably connects to them somehow
  • The promise made with Fishman Island also probably connects to them somehow
  • They likely know the true history and what happened during the Void Century
  • They were likely behind the disappearance of God's Valley
  • They seem to have Joy Boy's hat
  • Shanks collaboration with the Gorosei ultimately has to do with them
  • They had pictures of Luffy, Blackbeard and Vivi and Shirahoshi
    • Imu stabbed the picture of Shirahoshi (the Ancient Weapon Poseidon)
  • Joy Boy's mission/objective and Luffy's dream may have to do with them
  • They may date back to the Ancient Kingdom
  • They may be connected to or in possession of the last of the Ancient Weapons
  • Per Whitebeard after the One Piece is found — after a new Pirate King has emerged — only then will a final war engulf the world
    • This is probably after Blackbeard has been defeated

@Garp the Fist, @Celestial D. Dragon, @Tai long, @Sentinel, @Playa4321, @Gol D. Roger, @Nidai_Kitetsu, @Fleet Admiral Lee Hung, @MarineHQ, @LANJI CUCKSMOKE, @wordy, @Blackbeard, @Topi Jerami, @comrade, @Sir Yasheen, @TheAncientCenturion.
Yeah the question of “is imu the final villain” has definitely been answered. The only question left is what is Imu. And how does he fight.

It's not clear that Imu is not actually a fighter
And it's not clear that Imu is a fighter. He/She is or is using an ancient weapon. Is Shirahoshi a fighter?

  1. Kong is a former Fleet Admiral
  2. Kong is the current Commander in Chief of the World Government
    • He is Sakazuki's boss
    • He is in charge of pall other World Government military resources
Kong is a 80+ year old FA that was in charge even before Sengoku. To think in his current state he's even close to Akainu is dumb given Rayleigh's statement about his age last chapter. Kong is the intermediary between the WG and the Navy, Akainu is still the leader and gets to call the shots.

Akainu has the build up with Luffy and not Kong. You can't reach the Holy land with a huge force without going past the HQ first.

Since Imu sits at The Empty Throne, Luffy vs Imu is just set in stone i guess. Freedom vs Domination theme.

So damn baseless. Imu is more important than any antagonist. Again, who says Akainu and Imu need to be defeated at the exact same time?

The Crew defeats the Navy before going on to beat Imu, simple as that.

Akainu is definitely not just an Admiral lol. RN there's nothing making BB special either.

@Blackbeard @Erkan12 Kurohige dehype followed immediately by Im hype :josad:

Oda really is gonna do Teach dirty
If you think Oda dehyped BB, you are still the same low level troll that makes stupid predictions like Yami BB is YC3 level. :milaugh::gokulaugh:

The guy fodderized YC1 (you said she was YC1) and blocked a mountain size slash with his CoA Haki. SSG couldn't stop him from killing Hancock. And non-DF user Rayleigh, who should be a bad match-up, admits couldn't defeat him even with Hancock's help.

You have got to be fucking kidding me lmfao

Imu can obliterate fucking islands by opening his eyes wide,

And you still have retards like “but 1v1 power though”

Lmfaoooooo, this fandom is such a fucking joke man
What Imu is going to do if they fight on Marijoa? :suresure::milaugh: Blow up the Marijoa alongwith it?

Yes, we still have retards like who can't think about simple thing like this.

Also, Imu couldn't do shit to Blackbeard's island, as well as they can't blow up Laugh Tale.

Obviously even that AoE has limitations, and they can't do shit in 1 v 1. And Imu needed Larine tracking system to learn which island they were, what CoO Haki.

Shirahoshi or Momonosuke can also control gigantic creatures that can destroy islands, that doesn't make them strong in 1 v 1. Troll. :holdthisl:

Imu, Gorosei, Blackbeard as villains in importance>>>>Akainu and other admirals.

Blackbeard is a D and the first to break the df rule, already far more important than Akainu automatically.

B

Ballel

Maybe he need another 1 month break :kayneshrug:
His writing seemed 'good' after the break but really he was just giving us flashbacks to the end if Wano, and being better than the end of wano before the break isn't really hard.
Now that we're moving on towards the next arc Oda is doing the same mistakes again: reaction faces, offpanelling of crucial events, fake deaths, recycling of plotlines and of course silhouettes.

Oda should publish monthly.

This talk about Kong made me realize that perhaps Dragon could fight this guy (Sabo vs Akainu, Dragon vs Kong, Luffy vs Imu)

Dragon's hype has been shit lately, why not match him against a powerful dude who also has near non-existent hype lol
