Yeah I suspected recently, Kidds attacks would be such a nightmare to draw and hence Oda probably holds back with him due to that unfortunately. It makes a lot of sense sadly. I wish Kidd had a different DF or his DF automatically combined metal objects together, almost like "smelting" them, kinda like that one guy Bill's fruit in Heart of Gold OVA or w/e but with magnetism (elctromagnetism, heat coil induction or w/e its called?)

Yeah right?! Kidd went from fighting fodder Marines on-screen to Apoo and then a fucking Yonko and winning too?! With Laws help ofc? Thats like Naruto going straight from Genin to Hokage as he did ofc?! Madness!

At this point, I just want 1 really good fight for Kidd on-screen ofc, that he also wins and its someone stronger too. A high to extreme diff fight and win. I'm so happy he got a confirmed awakening though too! My dream came true with that too and tbh I love his fighting style, especially that Corna (KONO) Dio (DA!) he used vs Big Mom! Cant wait to see that animated! Although I heard Toei fucked up his surprise attack on Big Mom recently?

I really want the best for Kidd, I've had to endure SO MUCH slander from the bandwagoning masses in the OP community, jumping on that mob mentality of picking on the easy target and kicking a guy whilst he's down, The other Kidd fans, the famous ones here are WAY more chill/used to it, they are far more calm about it but I've been more like Kidd himself, hot tempered, agitated, fed up and such hahaha!

It doesnt help I see it constantly in every other part of the OP community I've been in from Twitter, Reddit, Discord servers, Youtube and thus part of certain OP Youtubers communities and such, sigh.

Is this a good time to mention that I'm also a fan of Big Mom, Kaido, Zoro, Usopp, Sanji, Nami, Chopper, Buggy, Blackbeard, Mihawk, Shanks etc and have had to endure seeing so much slander for those characters, especially certain ones there and its all so fucking exhausting, not even just mentally/physically/emotionally but straight to the soul too?
But theres whole other cans of worms I could open up there and I rather not right now hahaha!

I can always prove them wrong and beat them in arguments based on feats we seen him doing .

A lot of people don't like him for 4 reason

1 They don't want Luffy to have any rivals .

2 They don't want zoro to be weaker then any one but luffy and even that they want Zoro to be just as strong as Luffy or even stronger so they don't like Kid ebcause of his portrayl as luffy rival and top 3 supernova so they will mock him everytime . (The reason he got more hate then Law from them is because of desrosa and he is the only one luffy legit treath as a rival and compete with )

3 They don't want him to be stronger or as strong as Law it is from Law fans but mostly from the same zoro or luffy fans that loved law being saved by luffy in desrosa and since Law is obviously much weaker then Luffy for them, Kid being weaker then Law make him a lot weaker then luffy and zoro .

4 Some softies hate him for having killed civilians .

William Kidd who Kidd is based on ofc was apparently very unlucky IRL and thus Oda seems to be following that for Kidd too. He kinda felt like the Moria of the Worst Generation especially pre Onigashima.

I see Kidd as Luffys equivalent of Shiki for better and for worse. When Luffy becomes Pirate King, Kidd will be his Shiki and one of his greatest rivals too. I could see Kidd trying to raid Marineford for Luffys sake and fucking at least half of it up like Shiki did when he took on Garp and Sengoku too.
Shiki is one of my favourite characters too so I'm fond of comparing Kidd to him too naturally.

Teach'll probably dominate eventually but Law's a boss regardless. Dude's still a significant threat in a 1v1 against a top-tier. I think there's a good argument for him being a low top-tier at this point. I see this encounter as moreso contextualising Law's, Teach's and Big Mom's strength rather than simply making Teach look bad. Teach is Teach, he'll get hit by attacks and this time it was by powerful omes that had Van Auger worried and suggesting retreat but Blackbeard will turn things around. Big Mom going up against Law and Kid and taking their awakened attacks (especially Puncture Wille) just speaks volumes to her durability and endurance. Plus Law has probably grown a bit since Wano (not a crazy amount in my opinion) since he's mentioned learning from and improving after the Kaido/Big Mom fight.

Kinda underwhelming if Vegapunk dies in his debut arc at the hands of his bosses after revealing he's really an associate of Dragon's. Guess there's hope for Kuma if all those theories on Vegapunk being a decent guy are true.

Love how the crew's in 3 groups now (if they're splitting up for Oda to show more of the island quicker and more easily, going with a Monster Trio member in each group makes sense). Bonney's been interacting well with Luffy's group, Zoro's got Brook to assist if CP0 show up and I expect Sanji and Franky to interact with some more punks, perhaps even the real Vegapunk eventually.

Sanji rocking that look. Hope to see a good deal of focus on him soon. Maybe when Oda expands on MADS.

William was know for being unlucky I heard even when they hanged him htey had to do it twice because the rope snapped .

Eustace the monk tought is a pretty legendary pirate not like Black beard of course but he was a respected pirate .
