Peak fiction at this moment would be for Lucci and Kizaru to trash Luffy, capturing him and taking him to prison.
We would be spared of Gooffy's shenanigans for almost the entirety of the remaining story.
Zoro, who drank the son's cups, calls the Grand Fleet together and attacks Marine HQ.
Or Shishishi every chapter is better, eh Oda? :milaugh:
This may be a joke but the story would benefit so hard from this.

So why is he fighting Lucci? Shouldn't Jinbei handle that, we're going to have 10 chapters of Luffy fighting the n° 1, 2, 3, etc while everyone just watches? The S-Hawk clashed with BB, Luffy is going to fight him too. :quest:
?
Because they want to fight eachother
Lucci isnt the big arc antagonist either way so its not really a big deal at all

Luffy is going to defeat the arc boss either way

I don’t even know what to say, but Oda definitely wouldn’t do that. Not even for the rest of the Straw Hats.

This would do the complete opposite of proving their strength as a Yonko crew. Although I’d say some have developed more than others in that regard.

Who hurt you?? :josad:

I would love for somebody to actually get captured by the Navy. But not Luffy. Law is still a viable option for this.

QUOTE="MarineHQ, post: 3702279, member: 270"]Yes it would. The more Luffy centric the story becomes the more it suffered in the recent years. Think about why the events not involving Luffy and the crew are always the most hype for the fandom ?

Now we've entered chosen one territory and came up with an all time low.[/QUOTE]
The problem isnt Luffy per se, its more Oda's difficulty to juggle a million of characters in an arc which bloats the arc and makes the arc almost unreadable. Besides that, trying to solve an extreme with another extreme never works. You cant erase Luffy's presence in the last run of the series, moron
