everytime Zoro gets a new sword it's like this

Once Zoro got Sandai and Yubashiri, he tested them and kept talking about them, how Sandai was violent and cut more than he wanted to. He started using his long range attacks a while after that. There was no more talk about Wado.
Then once Zoro got Shusui it was the same thing, he was talking about how heavy it was and how his attacks felt more powerful with it. There was a lot of talk about the sword's legacy and being a Black Blade. No more talk about Sandai or Wado.
Now he gets Enma, and it's the exact same thing.

Every time he got a new sword he got a new mode whose name directly reflects the new swords? And thus ignores the rest of his arsenal?

I just said that Wado could have been focused on a lot more than it was since they were forged by the same guy.
Enma could have been used for training Zoro's ACOC, no problems with that idc. But their connection ahould have been explored more, as well as Wado's journey to that point in time where it was united with another sword from the same blacksmith - i.e. another connection to Kuina as well. Then tie that into the black blade subplot.
