Kaku is in his literal strongest form, using his strongest attacks as a call-back to EL. The exact same form that Lucci has, that matched and sent a CoA-infused G5 Luffy flying with a nameless, basic haki-coated punch.

Kaku uses an upper-end named attack against a Base Santoryu Zoro using simple CoA. He pushes Zoro back for a panel and gets immediately knocked down.

Lucci and Kaku are using the same form. Lucci remains superior but there's not much separating them portrayal-wise anymore. And Kaku performed worse using higher-end attacks than Lucci did which potentially balances out any difference in strength.

Zoro objectively performed better than Luffy here. Note: Both Luffy and Zoro would utterly shitstomp Lucci and Kaku if they were serious so it's really not that deep. But Zoro held back his high-release CoA as his swords were not smoking, CoC-coating as no lightning, KOH and Asura. Luffy held back CoC, fought in his strongest form and looked worse off than Lucci did after the battle. Again, does it really matter? No, but it's worth noting that Base Zoro with hardening is comparable to G5 Luffy with hardening.

stussy didnt use named attacks or haki either tbf
hax ? sure she's more lethal .
whether it reflects badly on either is up to you
I only stated it takes less effort for her to put kaku down than it would for zoro .
Well, Sugan needs to do is to touch people to seal their deal. I don't think you'd have named attacks when biting and sucking blood is all you need to do. We often refer to abilities that allow people to ignore physical limitations as hax. Whether her ability is hax or not, it's definitely an overpowered ability when you can KO people in a matter of seconds just from a bite when you generally need city busting moves to do the same.

@nik87 base zoro>g5 luffy

Because Zoro would've defeated Kaku while holding back much of his arsenal
Again, what puts awakened Kaku above the CP0 dude that Izo killed in a 1v2?
Somehow you already headcanon how strong Kaku is just because Zoro is fighting him and calling Zoro impressive.

For me, Kaku is in the same tier as CP0 dudes that Izo fought 1v2 while nerfed, maybe even weaker. Beating Kaku for me is not impressive.
Getting overpowered by Kaku, makes Zoro look like a clown.
which makes him look good in comparison
In comparison to who?
