Personally I won't like it if Shanks just defeats Kid with no consequences; he should have made some impact on him, and considering how Beckman was hinted at being responsible for taking his arm, I think the most interesting outcome as of now would have been that, knowing they were losing and pretty much doomed, Kid Pirates focused on making at least one lasting damage and crippled Beckman in some way (blinding him, taking his leg, whatever).

What spoilers describe is just... pointless.
